TTTECH Aerospace is a global expert in digital backbones based on Deterministic Ethernet as well as fault-tolerant avionics data-buses. Its platform solutions have achieved billions of flight hours in civil and military aviation and have been designed into key space programs such as NASA Orion/Artemis II, Ariane 6, or Lunar habitation and logistics modules.
At this year’s edition of the Farnborough International Airshow, we will highlight our complete portfolio for aerospace and defense, ranging from software and components to fully certifiable units.
Markets in focus
Commercial Aviation
Celebrating a 20-year service history and yet another supply chain award from BAE Systems, our TTP-Controller platform is still a great solution for DAL A applications requiring fault-tolerant data communication with low to medium bandwidth.
From local data-bus to the larger data networks: Being at the forefront of the revised A664 p. 7 standard, TTTECH Aerospace has several future-proof Gbps network switch units under development, which can handle A664 p. 7 traffic alongside regular Ethernet as well as fully synchronized traffic. The rack-mountable 19” switch is well-suited for safety-critical ground control (e.g., for AAM) as well as critical infrastructure.
Finally, recognizing the potential of the TSN aerospace profile for less critical applications (e.g., entertainment), we have started a TSN product initiative and will be ready to discuss your requirements at the event.
Product in focus:
Rotorcraft
This market is driven by a need for fewer, yet more flexible platforms, allowing for various types of missions. Consequently, the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) initiated by the US DoD is gradually being implemented, allowing for modularity and adaptability. As TSN experts, TTTECH Aerospace is your go-to partner for a robust, SOSA and CMOSS-compatible digital backbone and its configuration.
In addition, the trend towards optionally piloted helicopters and eVTOL continues, potentially requiring avionics upgrades. Compact switch units and VPX switch modules certifiable to DAL A are TTTECH’s key offering here.

Space
Satellite constellations and soon data centers in space drive the need for weekly and soon daily space launches. In parallel, the lunar economy is evolving, requiring transport to lunar orbits or the lunar surface. The upper stages of launch vehicles are getting more sophisticated and more autonomous; space tugs addressing similar needs are being developed. In this segmented field, TTTECH has been successful with its core technologies and know-how around Deterministic Ethernet, enabling a.o. precise navigation and stage separation. Qualified equipment for various use cases will be shown, including our scalable MYTHOS network switches and the modular avionics platform for “outer space” – ready for lunar orbits or the lunar surface.
