TTTech congratulates Bombardier, Parker and Rockwell Collins on the successful Bombardier Global 7500 type certification by the Canadian transport authority Transport Canada as well as the US authority Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). TTTech is proud to be on board with deterministic TTP (SAE AS6003) networking products and mature system integration solutions in the fly-by-wire (FBW) system.
The Global 7500 aircraft stands alone as the world’s largest and longest range business jet. Industry-leading 7,700 nautical mile range, a top speed of Mach 0.925 and steep approach capability deliver total performance unrivalled in business aviation. It features advanced fly-by-wire (FBW) technology, superior aesthetics, and maximizes crew comfort and efficiency.
Modern commercial and business jets integrate advanced closed-loop fly-by-wire flight control systems, replacing mechanical controls with a lighter, digital system that incorporates envelope protection and other advanced system-optimizing capabilities. TTTech’s mature TTP (Time-Triggered Protocol) networks are at the core of Parker Aerospace’s fly-by-wire systems. TTTech was selected by Rockwell Collins to provide hardware and software products based on TTP for flight control computer systems. Large parts of the FBW system developed for the Airbus A220 (formerly Bombardier CSeries) airliner is reused for the Global 7500/8000 flight control system. Bombardier Global 7500 is already the twelfth aircraft type that uses TTTech’s TTP networks in safety critical DAL A on-board systems.
TTTech’s robust networking and distributed platform solutions are used in a variety of critical systems, from power systems, engine controls and environmental control systems to flight control systems for business, military and commercial aircraft. The maturity of our TTP networking solutions, which accumulated over 500 millions of flight hours in DAL A applications, supports the continued success and expansion of TTTech’s airworthy products into different advanced aircraft systems. TTP (Time-Triggered Protocol) is an open SAE AS6003 industry standard.
