Industry group is collaborating to address real-time device-to-device and device-to-cloud applications Milwaukee, WI and Vienna, Austria April 24, 2018

Rockwell Automation joins the group of industry leaders known as Shapers to create a communication solution for real-time and sensor-to-cloud applications in industrial operations. This solution will be based on the OPC UA protocol and the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN).

TTTech’s groundbreaking Slate XNS configuration software for TSN networks is now available for customers. Slate XNS is the first vendor-independent configuration software for TSN. It is available as a standalone software that runs on Windows or Linux and can be used to set up networks containing any standard compliant TSN devices.

April 12, 2018 Molex and TTTech today announced a collaboration based on their shared vision of open, flexible and interoperable systems in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). The first results of this collaboration will be demonstrated at Hannover Messe, April 23-27, 2018 in Hannover Germany.

TTTech announced a comprehensive TSN solution for the industrial automation market at SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg.

Cisco became the first major switch vendor to release a TSN (Time Sensitive Networking) product for the industrial market earlier this year. TTTech strongly supported the deployment of TSN in Cisco’s IE4000 switch. This project was part of a long-standing cooperation with Cisco, which has included technology development and collaboration in the IEEE TSN standardization group.

TTTech has released a new version of its Edge IP Solution product, now supporting new Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) mechanisms.

Successful Second Deterministic Ethernet Forum in Vienna Over 200 participants gathered in Vienna last week for the second Deterministic Ethernet Forum to discuss the latest developments in the evolution of this technology. Standardization, convergence and examples of successful applications in the industrial and automotive sector were the dominating topics on the agenda.

The Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC) recently announced that the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) Testbed received top ranking in the Testbed Showcase, an opportunity for IIC testbed leaders to present and be judged by their peers on the strategic value of their testbeds. Additionally, the ICC Testbed will be extended to a second site in Erbach, Germany. TTTech is alongside other companies part of the IIC TSN Testbed.
