IT System Engineer – Development & Scripting (m/f/d)
Join our internal IT and Systems Operations team and take the lead in automating request fulfillment processes. You will design and implement end-to-end automation solutions, maintain our development infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration across systems. Working closely with stakeholders and your team, you’ll contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of our IT operations.
Your Tasks
- Design and develop end-to-end automation solutions for IT request fulfillment
- Maintain and operate internal automation development infrastructure, including Jenkins, Git repositories, and middleware components
- Consult with stakeholders and design automation workflows aligned with IT and business requirements
- Develop, maintain, and configure automation interfaces to ensure seamless integration
Your Profile
- Extensive experience with PowerShell, Python, and JavaScript
- Strong knowledge of interfaces such as REST API, AI Interfaces and Agents, and GrafanaExperience working with Git and Jenkins
- Solid general technical knowledge of IT systems and IT processes
- Ability to work in a self-responsible and proactive manner
- Experience in using GitHub Copilot and AI-based tools
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is an advantage
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault (Key Management) is beneficial
- Good command of English

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 46,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
