Sales Manager – Space (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about Sales and Space? Then this role might be just the right fit. In this exciting role, you strengthen our Sales Division with managing our existing customer base and further expanding our market position in the European and global Space markets. By doing so, you will function as the main interface between our customers and all stakeholders involved. 

Your Tasks

  • Lead the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation, opportunity management, writing offers, contract and business model negotiations and closing of contracts to invoicing and financial customer planning  
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through development of significant new business opportunities within new and existing customers  
  • Represent technical and commercial requirements of the customer within our organization  
  • Manage and oversee comprehensive and complex contracts including risk management  
  • Plan and report of sales forecasts  
  • Cooperate with the Product Management team to support continuous product improvement and to create detailed market trend analyses 

Your Profile

  • University degree in either business or a relevant technical field like computer science or electrical engineering  
  • Profound professional experience in a sales organization related to IT, electronics or software  
  • Technical background with the ability to understand embedded systems  
  • Experience in the space industry and relevant market know-how is a plus  
  • Committed team player and open communicator with the ability to understand and express complex technical matters  
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30-40 %) 
  • Proficiency in English, German skills are beneficial

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 60,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
