Software Developer – Computer Vision and Robotics (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about Computer Vision and Robotics? Then this role might be just for you. You will be responsible for developing and implementing applications which automate mobile machinery together with our customers.

Your Tasks

  • Develop and maintain perception (2D/3D, Camera, LiDAR, Radar) and robotics applications on Linux-based embedded systems
  • Integrate AI/Computer Vision models on edge devices
  • Focus on resource-constrained, but robust embedded systems
  • Take over responsibility along the product lifecycle – from requirements gathering and software design to implementation and testing.
  • Keep close relationship with project manager, customers, and other teams
  • Share and broaden your knowledge and experience within the team

Your Profile

  • Computer science degree (PhD, MSc, FH, laurea magistrale) with focus on robotics, computer vision, and/or neural networks
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and good programming skills in Python
  • Experience with Yocto, Buildroot, or other Linux build systems
  • Knowledge in machine vision and/or robotics as well as networking in Linux
  • Hands on experience with ROS 2 in a production or research setting, Docker, Git, and/or CMake
  • Motivated and committed team player with curiosity for innovation and an independent and precise style of working
  • Very good command of English, good command of German or Italian is a plus
