Strategic Business Developer - Mobile Machinery Solutions (m/f/d)
We are looking for a business development manager that wants to contribute to the development of future‑ready solutions (safe and secure software for machinery control systems and AI-based perception), which gives you the chance to participate in the transition of automated to autonomous machines and drive strategic initiatives that shape our long‑term technology roadmap.
Your Tasks
- Develop and execute growth strategies for reusable software and engineering solutions in the off‑highway industry
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify new business opportunities and future technology trends
- Build business models and business cases for reusable software, frameworks and license‑based offerings
- Drive the shift from ad-hoc engineering projects towards proactive, long‑term customer engagement and strategic acquisition
- Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on strategic fit, reusability, synergies, revenue and margin impact
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management and Project Managers to shape solution portfolios
Your Profile
- Completed technical or commercial education (Politecnico / University / Fachhochschule)
- Proven track-record in project management with a commercial focus and/or strong business development background
- Solid technical and management understanding of modern embedded software development and the use cases in the off-highway or adjacent industries
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Very good knowledge of English; German and/or Italian would be an advantage
