Driving innovation across industries

TTTECH Aerospace

2025 was an exciting year for TTTECH Aerospace, with major milestones in space and aviation that underline our role as a trusted technology partner for the most ambitious programs of our time.

Space: Supporting human exploration beyond earth

TTTECH Aerospace has been active in the space industry for more than 20 years and is involved in many international programs. Our core competence lies in highly reliable data networks, the ‘nervous systems’ that ensure reliable data transmission and seamless operations.

Technology from TTTECH Aerospace is used in NASA’s Artemis program – from the Orion spacecraft to the Lunar Gateway. The Gateway space station modules are built in the USA  as well as internationally with Europe (ESA) being in charge of the Lunar I-Hab and Lunar View. All contain networking and computing platforms from TTTECH and Beyond Gravity Austria. The use of the same fault-tolerant data network and robust networking equipment ensures interoperability between the Lunar Gateway, equipment, and docking spacecraft.

TTTECH Aerospace also introduced TTESwitch MYTHOS, a compact deterministic Ethernet switch for launchers and space transportation vehicles. It will soon be integrated into Europe’s new flagship launcher, Ariane 6. Ariane 6 benefits from the use of a single high-speed TTEthernet network to handle all data traffic - from control and telemetry to video. TTEthernet controllers from TTTECH are integrated into more than 50 avionics units handling functions such as computing, power distribution or thrust-vector actuation. Ariane 6 successfully completed its first commercial flight in March 2025.
