Requirements Engineer – Secure Energy Management (m/f/d)

Together with a team of experts you will support the product development with your software (and security) expertise molten into crisp requirements. We are looking for an expert who is passionate about creating a solution that is needed in the energy sector by proactively contributing to a solution that connects energy suppliers and industry via a data platform.
Your Tasks
- Proactively collaborate with system-level teams and customers to collect, analyze, and document requirements
- Oversee and verify the compatibility of requirements, ensuring traceability through validation, communication, and resolution
- Facilitate and document reviews to maintain high standards and continuous improvement
- Contribute to writing test cases based on requirements and assist in system testing
- Communicate between product management, development and the business side
- Have an open eye on (cloud-)security
Your Profile
- Technical education or alternatively comparable practical experience and certifications
- Experience in software development and requirements engineering in a similar role
- Knowledge of creating, designing, deploying and supporting software
- Know-how in designing secure software on the edge and in the cloud
- Proactive communicator
- Very good command of English, German is a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of € 51,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
