Growing with new partners In 2019, the TTTech Group extended its business ecosystem, founded a new company and launched “The Autonomous”, a global community shaping the future of safe autonomous mobility.

RUAG Space, a leading space supplier, and TTTech, a leader in high-tech network technology, are teaming up to provide space electronics for the NASA space station “Lunar Gateway”. In 2011, via a Space Act Agreement, TTTech and NASA standardized TTEthernet technology as an open industry standard i.e. SAE AS6802 together with several industry partners.

TTTech is only the second company globally to receive Premium Partner status in Infineon’s partner ecosystem and the first company with a background in autonomous driving solutions and the Industrial Internet, working closely together with the automotive and off-highway industry. The Premium Partner announcement was made in the course of the “The Autonomous” event that brought together a global community shaping the future of safe, autonomous mobility.

The Co-Investor Group, an equity investor focused on medium-sized companies, has increased its investment in TTTech Computertechnik AG (hereafter referred to as TTTech Group) by an additional 20 million Euro.

An exciting year comes to an end for the companies of the TTTech group. In 2018, we built strategic partnerships, established a new group structure and founded a new company.

March 13, 2018 Today, SAIC Motor Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SAIC Group) and Austrian TTTech Computertechnik AG (hereinafter referred to as TTTech) have signed a joint venture contract. SAIC and TTTech will set up a joint venture company, with a 50.1:49.9 ratio in shares, to accelerate the integration and development of the intelligent driving control central system (iECU) and enhance the core technological capabilities in the intelligent driving field.

December 19, 2017 TTTech Computertechnik AG has been awarded a platinum prize for its radiation-hardened TTEthernet ASIC with fault-tolerant deterministic Ethernet services by the Military & Aerospace Electronics Innovators Award Committee. This powerful system-on-chip (SoC) contains a 32-bit computing core, a fully deterministic 25-port Gigabit Ethernet switch core as well as an Ethernet end point, 1 Mbyte of internal memory, and a rich set of peripherals.

This year, TTTech surpassed a major milestone in its 19 year history. Our workforce has reached the 500 employees mark and we expanded our premises in both Vienna and its presences abroad significantly.

With more than 5,500 entries, the call for submission for the Cisco Grand Innovation Challenge has been a huge success. Cisco has just announced the six finalists that have been selected to compete for financial and mentoring support from Cisco to jumpstart their venture. TTTech partners with Cisco in this initiative and will be part of the jury that is going to select the winners.
