IT/R&D License & Tool Specialist (m/f/d)

We are in search of an IT/R&D License and Tool Specialist with specialized expertise in automotive software development and a strong technical background in license implementation, monitoring, and server deployment. The candidate will manage our software licensing agreements and IT contracts, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and technological advancement.

Your Tasks

  • Manage the implementation and administration of software licenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and vendor agreements.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration, focusing on technical aspects of automotive software solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of DevOps tools such as Confluence and Jira, facilitating collaboration and project tracking.
  • Manage the deployment of license servers, which includes setting up and configuring the necessary infrastructure to support software licensing.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendors during the contract negotiations, with a strong emphasis on technical requirements and specifications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their tool requirements and provide solutions that enhance productivity.
  • Handle contract disputes and renegotiations, leveraging technical knowledge to address issues related to software licensing and deployment.

Your Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management or a related field, with a strong focus on the automotive industry and software development
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in Confluence, Jira, and other relevant DevOps tools as well as the Microsoft landscape.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the context of automotive software development and license management.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, with a strong emphasis on technical aspects, development cycles, and license management

Additional information for Austria: We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 45,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
