Senior Financial Controller (m/f/d)
Are you passionate about numbers and everything related to the topic Controlling & Finance? Then this role might be just the right fit. In this role, you will act as a role model in a cross-border team. You will develop, revise, and implement controlling standards and guidelines while being in continuous exchange with relevant stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies resulting in cost improvements.
Your Tasks
- Consolidation, financial planning, and analysis of corporate budgets
- Support top management and key stakeholder in steering, monitoring, and interpreting profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to draw conclusions
- Contribution to the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts as well as medium-term financial planning
- Analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as well as return KPIs and their underlying drivers to identify improvement potentials
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders (incl. management and supervisory boards, investor relations, etc.)
- Participation in system/process improvement and standardization initiatives
Your Profile
- University degree in Business Administration or Economics, preferably with a specialization in Finance or Controlling
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role in an international environment
- Experience in Financial Controlling and Business Controlling, paired with good accounting knowledge
- High IT affinity is a must; SAP FI/CO and expertise in Excel, SAC, Tableau, LucaNet are highly appreciated
- Profound commercial understanding and analytical thinking
- Committed and reliable team player with strong communication and presentation skills
- Proactive and self-motivated personality with a high degree of responsibility paired with the willingness to take up challenges
- Excellent communication skills in English and good German skills

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (“Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe”) and we offer a minimum salary of € 65,000.- gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
